Business Hours

Our office is open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 to 18:00 Pakistan Standard Time (PKT, UTC+5). We are closed on Sundays and public holidays in Pakistan. Messages received outside these hours are answered on the next working day. International customers should allow for the time difference when expecting a reply; for example, a message sent late in the European afternoon may reach us after our office has closed.

If your enquiry is urgent, for example a production line waiting on yarn or a shipment deadline, say so clearly at the start of your message and give the date by which you need a reply. We will tell you honestly whether the timeline is achievable from stock or production, and suggest alternatives if it is not, such as a partial delivery or an equivalent specification available sooner.

Send an Enquiry

Fill in the form below and press the button. It will open WhatsApp with your enquiry already written, so you can review it and send it to us. Fields marked with an asterisk are required.

Prefer email? Send the same details to info@soltex.pk. Attach specification sheets, tech packs or photos of existing labels if you have them.

What to Include in a Quote Request

Textile prices depend heavily on specification. Two yarns with the same name can differ in count, fibre quality and twist, and two fabrics described as “canvas” can differ greatly in GSM and construction. To give you a meaningful price, we need a few key details. The table below summarises what to send for each product range.

ProductDetails to send
Yarn & ThreadsFibre or blend, count (Ne or Tex), ply, carded/combed, ring/open-end, twist if critical, end use, cone type and packing, quantity in kg
Woven FabricsWeave, warp and weft counts, ends and picks per inch, GSM, width, greige or finished, shade and finish, quantity in metres
PolyesterSpun or filament, count or denier, blend ratio, lustre, colour, end use, quantity in kg or metres
Canvas & CottonGSM or ounce weight, width, construction, greige/dyed, finishes such as water-repellent or fire-retardant, roll length, quantity
Football FabricBall type, number of layers, fabric construction, GSM, width, roll length, quantity in metres
Bladder Winding ThreadNylon or polyester, denier or count, ply, colour, bobbin or cone type, quantity in kg
Kite Flying ThreadPly, reel type (charkhi, pinna or cone), length per reel, quantity in reels or cartons, delivery city

Quantity and delivery

Tell us the total quantity and, if you plan to order regularly, your expected monthly or annual volume. Volume affects price, lead time and whether an item can be supplied from stock or must be made to order. Also share the delivery city in Pakistan or, for export, the destination country and port, along with your target delivery date.

Packing and labelling

If you need particular cone types, carton weights, roll lengths, bale packing, private labels or shipping marks, mention them in your enquiry. Packing affects cost and must be agreed before production.

Matching an existing material

If you want us to match something you already use, the best option is a physical sample. A photo of the cone label, fabric tag or test report also helps. We analyse the sample and quote for the closest equivalent, explaining any differences.

Choosing the Right Product Range

If you are not sure which of our ranges fits your need, start with the end product and work backwards. A few pointers:

You can also describe your product in the message field and let us recommend a starting point.

Sending Physical Samples to Us

When you want us to match a yarn, thread or fabric you already use, a physical sample gives the most reliable result. For yarn and thread, a full or partly used cone with its label is ideal. For fabric, a piece large enough to measure GSM and count ends and picks accurately is best, and a short length across the full width helps if the width matters. Please label each sample with your company name, a reference and what you want us to match or improve. Contact us before sending so we can share the dispatch address and expect your parcel.

Privacy of Your Enquiry

We use the details you send only to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotations and manage your order. Specifications, tech packs and samples that customers share with us are treated as confidential business information and are not passed to other customers. If you need a formal confidentiality agreement before sharing a new development, mention it in your first message.

Sample Requests

We encourage customers to test our materials before placing bulk orders. We can send yarn cones, thread spools, fabric swatches and kite thread reels. When asking for samples, please tell us:

  • The product and specification you want to test.
  • What you will test it for, such as running performance, dyeing, strength or hand feel.
  • The quantity needed for a meaningful test – a swatch is enough to check hand feel, but a machine trial may need more.
  • Your full delivery address and contact number for the courier.

We will confirm the sample details and any courier cost before dispatch. Once you approve a sample, it becomes the reference for your bulk order, as explained on our About page.

Export Enquiries

We welcome enquiries from importers, manufacturers and trading companies outside Pakistan. To help us quote accurately for export, please include:

  • Your company name and country.
  • The destination port or airport.
  • Your preferred Incoterm, such as FOB Karachi or CFR to your port.
  • Whether you have a nominated freight forwarder.
  • Any documents your customs or bank require beyond the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin.
  • Any carton markings, labelling or inspection requirements.

We can combine several product ranges in one shipment where volumes allow, for example yarn and fabric together, or football fabric with stitching and bladder winding thread. Payment terms for export orders are agreed on each quotation.

Please note that our kite flying thread is plain, uncoated cotton only. We do not supply coated or cutting strings for any market, and buyers must follow the laws that apply in their own country.

Example Enquiries That Get Fast Quotes

The quickest quotations come from enquiries that answer our questions before we ask them. Here are three examples of the kind of message that lets us price straight away:

  • Yarn: “100% cotton carded ring-spun yarn, Ne 20/1, for weaving, on paper cones in cartons, 10,000 kg per month, delivered to Faisalabad.”
  • Canvas: “Greige cotton canvas, around 400 GSM, 60 inch width, for tents, rolls of about 100 metres, 15,000 metres, CFR to our port.”
  • Kite thread: “Plain cotton dour, 6 ply, on charkhi reels, 500 reels in cartons, delivered to Lahore.”

These are illustrations of format only, not standard products or prices. If you do not know some of the details, send what you have and tell us the end use; we will suggest suitable specifications and samples.

Common Reasons a Quote Takes Longer

Most delays in quoting come from missing information. We may need to come back to you if:

  • The specification is described only in general terms, such as “good quality yarn” or “thick canvas”, without a count, GSM or construction.
  • The quantity is not given, because price and minimum quantity depend on volume.
  • The delivery location is missing, which affects freight and, for export, the Incoterm.
  • Special finishes, colours or packing are mentioned only after the quotation, which changes the cost.
  • A matching job is requested without a sample or label, so we cannot confirm the existing specification.

Including these points in your first message usually saves a full round of questions and answers.

Order Follow-ups and Existing Customers

If you already have an order with us, please mention your order or quotation reference in every message. This lets us find your file immediately and give you an accurate update on production, checking or dispatch. For repeat orders, you can simply quote the previous order reference and the new quantity, and we will match the specification of the lot you approved before. If anything about the specification has changed, tell us clearly so that the new order sheet reflects it.

For any concern about delivered goods, please share the lot number from the carton, cone label or roll tag, a description of the issue and, where possible, photos. This helps us investigate quickly and agree on a solution.

Language and Communication

You can write to us in English or Urdu. For technical specifications, we use standard textile units such as Ne and Tex for yarn count, denier for filament, GSM and ounces per square yard for fabric weight, and inches or centimetres for width. If your company uses different units or local trade names, let us know and we will confirm the equivalent values in writing so there is no misunderstanding.

After You Contact Us

  1. We acknowledge your enquiry and ask for any missing details.
  2. We send a quotation with price, minimum quantity, lead time and payment terms.
  3. We arrange samples if needed.
  4. Once you approve, we confirm the specification in a written order sheet and begin production or allocation from stock.
  5. We keep you updated until dispatch and share the packing list and lot numbers.
